Composting is an eco-friendly way to recycle kitchen scraps and yard waste while boosting soil health and reducing landfill waste.

  • Choose a spot in your backyard or a bin for indoor composting.
  • Add “greens” like fruit peels, vegetable scraps, and coffee grounds.
  • Balance with “browns” such as dried leaves, cardboard, and paper.
  • Turn your compost regularly to add oxygen and speed up decomposition.
  • Keep it moist but not soggy for best results.

🌟 Tip: Avoid adding meat, dairy, or oily foods—they can attract pests and slow the composting process.
