Start your own compost pile to create nutrient-rich soil for your garden.

Composting is an eco-friendly way to recycle kitchen scraps and yard waste while boosting soil health and reducing landfill waste.

Choose a spot in your backyard or a bin for indoor composting.
Add “greens” like fruit peels, vegetable scraps, and coffee grounds.
Balance with “browns” such as dried leaves, cardboard, and paper.
Turn your compost regularly to add oxygen and speed up decomposition.
Keep it moist but not soggy for best results.

🌟 Tip: Avoid adding meat, dairy, or oily foods—they can attract pests and slow the composting process.
