'Live Since '85' Exhibit Celebrates 40 Years of Tampa Bay Concerts

No Clubs! Presents showcases decades of music history through flyers and photos

Music enthusiasts in St. Petersburg have a unique opportunity to journey through four decades of live performances at the 'Live Since '85' exhibit, presented by No Clubs! Presents.

Running from January 3 to February 28, 2026, at The Factory St. Pete, this free exhibition offers a visual chronicle of Tampa Bay's vibrant concert scene.

Attendees can explore an extensive collection of concert posters, flyers, and photographs, featuring legendary acts from The Ramones to Kendrick Lamar.

Co-owner Tony Rifugiato emphasized the exhibit's purpose: "This was really so that the fans could come here and see themselves years and years ago and remember all the memories that they had."

Established in 1985, No Clubs! Presents has been instrumental in shaping the local music landscape, collaborating with venues like Jannus Live, The Ritz Ybor, and the former State Theatre.

The exhibit is thoughtfully divided into time-period sections, with the 1985-1995 segment showcasing nearly every concert promoted during that era, including around 20 original, hand-crafted, framed flyers.

Long-time employee Robbie Williams, who curated the exhibition, noted, "It shows a lot of the ecosystem that Tony and Dave built over the years."

Highlights include early performances by now-iconic bands, such as Green Day opening for Bad Religion in 1993, just before the release of their breakthrough album, 'Dookie'.

Reflecting on these moments, Rifugiato remarked, "For me, it's really the best part of their careers. There's an intimacy in a small venue where a band can connect more with a few hundred fans."

The 'Live Since '85' exhibit is open to the public until February 28, 2026, at The Factory St. Pete, located at 2622 Fairfield Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33712.
